Fresh 48 sessions are perfect for those families who want the first few hours of their newborns life captured with or without having the entire labor & birth documented. These sessions are typically held within the first 48 hours of baby's birth & they're easily my favorite sessions! Give me ALL the squishy babies! Capturing those precious little yawns, tiny toes, itty- bitty fingers, first feedings, bath and maybe meeting grandparents and or siblings. These are sure to be photos you will cherish forever! These sessions are not meant to replace newborn pictures, but rather capture the beauty of this special time during and / or right after birth in a very natural & comfortable way. one thing that sets me apart from other photographers is that I have extensive medical experience and know how to work professionally alongside hospital staff and in a clinical setting. I am also a mom of three and understand and value the importance of allowing ample time for the natural progression of things and respect the confidential nature of child birth.
Due to the 'on call' nature of these sessions, I only book a limited number per month. Booking early is key in securing your spot! As your due date approaches you will keep me posted on your progress, changes in due date or delivery plan. What happens next will depend on whether we are documenting the labor and delivery or doing a stand alone fresh48. Everything will be fully explained during our phone consultation prior to booking.
